On LEO, you can earn money by participating in various competitions and draws, as well as by completing surveys and referring as many people as possible. Surveys are paid according to how long it should take to complete. The only problem is that there are few surveys to be done.

For example, a survey on my health with questions about my diagnosed illnesses and my cannabis use took me less than 2 minutes, for 300 points. Another survey on my employment situation earned 500 points and took 5 minutes. They also increased my chances of winning a competition.

Contests

Contests should not be neglected. You cannot control who wins them and when, but the rewards are worth taking a chance. For example, I could win a $250 Simons gift card! To get the same value in surveys, I would need to have around 250,000 points or spend 40 hours taking surveys.

Other features (that don’t pay)

LEO also allows you to rate companies and answer or ask questions to members. I answered a question about my enjoyment of long car journeys (I don’t like it!). I also tested if giving my opinion on a company like Tim Hortons would earn me points (it doesn’t).

How do I redeem my reward points?

When you reach the 10,000 point threshold, you can redeem them directly on the platform for things like gift cards, AIR MILES, prepaid cards, Uber and Uber Eats credits, Starbucks and Amazon.ca gift cards, and merchandise.

Generally, gift cards are electronic, but you can opt for physical cards. To do so, you will need to place an order to receive them by mail. You can also redeem points for cash and withdrawal them via PayPal.

My opinion on LEO

Leger Opinion is an easy-to-use site that really pays off. I got 1,300 points in less than 10 minutes, the equivalent of $1.30, plus 8 chances to win a contest. It doesn’t replace a salary, but it’s standard for this type of survey site.
